A poem with the language of Nature

“The smoke of my own breath,

Echoes, ripples, buzzed whispers, love-root, silk-thread, crotch, vine,

My respiration and inspiration, the beating of my heart, the passing of blood and air through my lungs,

The sniff of green leaves and dry leaves, and of the shore and dark-colored sea-rocks, and of hay in the barn,

The sound of the belched words of my voice, words loosed to the ed dies of the wind,

A few light kisses, a few embraces, a reaching around of arms,

The play of shine and shade on the trees as the supple boughs wag,

The delight alone, or in the rush of the streets, or along the fields and hill-sides,

The feeling of health, the full-noon trill, the song of me rising from bed and meeting the sun.”

Walt Whitman – Poem of Walt Whitman, an American (Song of Myself)

The post-modern age is unquestionably dominated by technology and speed. As humans live their lives devoured by the abstraction of social media and hearing only the iron voices of electronic appliances; as we share the world so distanced to each other, so adrift from the solid simplest realities surrounding us, it’s no surprise that human kind misses so much the special touch of Nature’s green. What is seen today as New Age mysticism was once at the very center of all things; divinely bound to the human mind and soul, the hint itself of green has disappeared from the gaze and sense of Man.

As the great poet W. B. Yeats once declared: “The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for ours senses to grow sharper.” It is ILA’s proudest achievement to redesign Man within the environment, to reconnect people with Nature, thus restoring the long lost ties so crucial to our own presence, as bodies and spirits. So much hangs upon the slightest detail, the finest choice of occupied space; the minimum variation can change the effect of the whole composition.

Saving the space of design and yet eliciting emotions overwhelming in the mind and soul of the beholder. To focus Man at the central heart of nature, to express the protean versatility of the natural composition, the new Green Stream Vertical Garden has been created to express the soothing, sweet sensation that only a sincere contact with nature can elicit. The silence and the complex peacefulness of the universe in bloom shape the various hues of green and almost seem to dance before our eyes, in harmonious and light intervals: tonalities of feelings to be at ease with oneself and Nature.

The purity and innocence of Nature makes us feel at home: calm, confident, relaxed. ILA Green Stream is our designer’s latest success in writing a poem with the language of green, a symphony of colours and feeling, so pleasant and sweet, so essential to our Life.
