Areca Palm Green

Classified as Dypsis Lutescens, Areca is a species of evergreen palm, native to Madagascar and South India and naturalized in central America, the Canary Islands and the Andaman Islands, southern Florida, Jamaica, the Venezuelan Antilles.
It is usually 6 to 12 m tall. Multiple stems emerge from the base. The leaves are arched, 2–3 m long, and pinnate.
It is grown as an ornamental garden plant in tropical and subtropical regions, and elsewhere indoors as a houseplant.
