A Journey at the End of Ourselves

“The happiest man is he who learns from nature the lesson of worship”

(Ralph Waldo Emerson, Nature”)

Here is a simple, shiny, utter Truth: we all are Mother Nature’s children. From the earth we are born and to the heavens we arise; and our flimsy, fleeting, evanescent life only can be illuminated by a contact with the honest sentiment of Nature.

There is no I in Truth, no Me in Life. Our ideas of ourselves, our consciousness, our nightmares and dreams, and ethics, and etiquette, and loves, and feelings, and affairs, and fears, and hurry, and frenzy, and stressfulness ALL, in the end, unveil their ultimate inconsistency. And we come to know that we really are nothing but shadows on an inexistent stage:

“And all our yesterdays have lighted fools

The way to dusty death. Out, out, brief candle!

Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player,

That struts and frets his hour upon the stage,

And then is heard no more. It is a tale

Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,

Signifying nothing.”

Post-Modernity is feverishly anthropocentric. We spend our days drunken with ourselves. Living in the illusion of being a human looking at Nature is mere vanity and flattery.

Much like us, Nature has a heart and soul, we are nothing but the offspring of Time and Nature… and yet have almost become orphan of our Mother.

To know what Nature really is, one must look into Her soul: into the darkness and light, into the core of the Forest itself. The ila Vertical Garden Research is expanded and enriched with Dancing Forest100 % Natural trunks and our collection of foliage convey bulkiness, substance and colour to the Vertical Composition. With Dancing Forest the room ceases to be a living space. It becomes a moment of bliss and meditation; relaxation and forgetfulness of self.

A place to look at Nature as a mirror. To come to know the true Presence of the Forest, the Hegelian Spirit, the All-Encompassing Truth.
